Monday, May 21: TBD, working with the hotel to have a chef and/or bartender demo with snacks/drinks in the afternoon. This would also be a good time to catch up with friends!! The Opening Ceremonies which begin at 8:00 a.m., recognize the leadership of the organization and chapters. There will be local dignitaries, along with a possible Keynote Speaker. The Memorial Service, honoring members who have passed away since the last conference, will also be at this time. It is always a moving ceremony. We know it's early, but please make plans to attend. After the ceremony has concluded, we will adjourn to our designated area to meet and greet one another. This is your chance to meet our new attendees and ask any questions you might have.

Tuesday, May 22: Guided Tour at The Star in Frisco, the Dallas Cowboys World Corporate Headquarters. You will have a chance to experience the place where the Dallas Cowboys train and work 355 days of the year. Highlights of the VIP Guided Tour include: Ford Center, the 510,000 square foot indoor athletic facility where the Cowboys train, War Room, a state-of-the-art room where the NFL draft is conducted; Nike Star Walk, a collection of the 10 most significant milestones in Dallas Cowboys history, along with a display of the evolution of the team's uniforms dating back to 1960; Super Bowl Memorabilia & Station, a display of all five Super Bowl Trophies and Rings from the years of 1971, 1977, 1992, 1993 and 1995; Grand Atrium, with its beautiful Italian marble floors that are adorned with the names and quotes of Dallas Cowboys players and coaches, hangs artist Leo Villarreal LED sculpture titled "Volume Frisco" (2016). This dancing LED display includes more than 19,200 white LED lights embedded in 160, 40 foot long stainless steel mirrored rods hanging from the ceiling. The Star is also an entertainment district lined with shops and restaurants!! This is also Banquet Night, so we will return in plenty of time to get ready for the banquet. We hope to see everyone there!!!

Wednesday, May 23: This is your shopping day!!! Stonebriar Centre Mall in Frisco is just minutes from the hotel and the hotel shuttle will transport you. This mall has almost 200 shops and restaurants; some of the restaurants are Cheesecake Factory (my favorite!!), Bucca Di Beppo, Dave & Buster's and California Pizza Kitchen.There are also many fast food restaurants, along with cookies and pretzels and whatever else you can find!!! This is also the day the Exhibits Hall is open and we will again have a booth, operated by IAAI Spouse members. Please bring an item with you for our silent auction, the more unique the item, the better! Sales from our silent auction enable us to pay for buses and tickets to the various venues we visit each year. Without items for the silent auction we would have to ask you to pay your way when we go on these fun adventures.

Thursday, May 24: I'm really excited for this one because I've wanted to go for years and just haven't done it!! We will be going to the Dallas Arboretum, a 66 acre botanical garden that is always blooming and ever-changing throughout the seasons. The Arboretum has been listed among the top arboretums in the world and has received numerous honors. We will go on a guided walking tour, led by a knowledgeable tour guide. The tour will also include box lunches and drinks. Because we have to pay for the guided tour and lunches 2 weeks in advance and reserve a bus, it is imperative that you email me at melissasneed@sneedconsultants.com and let me know you plan on going with us to the arboretum. There will be a lot of walking, but I also understand it is wheelchair accessible and they have a limited number of wheelchairs available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is also a tram that will take you around the park.

Friday, May 25: Farewell Breakfast, at our Meet and Greet we will let you know more details about the breakfast. We hope everyone will attend, as this is when we take a group picture, say our farewells and get a handout with everyone's contact information on it.
